Postal Service employees who served in the military during the Vietnam War are invited to attend the Memorial Day dedication of the Medal of Honor: Vietnam War stamps in Washington, DC.

The ceremony will be held Monday, May 25, from 1-2 p.m. at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on the National Mall. The event is free and open to the public.

Chief Operating Officer David Williams will speak during the dedication, which also will feature at least two Medal of Honor recipients.

The stamps will depict the three versions of the medal — one each for the Army, Navy and Air Force. Each medal consists of a five-pointed star worn around the neck on a light blue ribbon.

The medal was awarded to more than 200 individuals who served during the Vietnam War. Approximately six out of 10 recipients were honored posthumously.
