A new Postal Service video shows how employees help keep packages moving throughout the busy holiday shipping season.

The Postal Service helps make the holidays happen by connecting the right people, systems and technology, a new promotional video shows.

“We have one of the nation’s largest workforces, and we’ve delivered the holidays longer than any other carrier,” the narrator says.

“At the Heart of the Holidays,” which is available on the Postal Service’s YouTube channel, is geared toward business customers. (Some employees may be unable to view external videos on USPS computers.)

The 1-minute, 45-second production notes the Postal Service delivered 4 billion packages last year and added Sunday package deliveries during the holidays to help businesses move orders quickly.

The video also showcases the Postal Service’s recent investments in technology, including My USPS.com, which allows customers to manage their home deliveries and receive text and email alerts for incoming packages.

“It’s all so you can fulfill your commitment to customers at the most wonderful — and critical — time of the year,” the narrator says.

The Postal Service expects to deliver 15.5 billion cards, letters and packages this holiday season, according to recent projections.
