Mark Pizzo isn’t just a hero to the Postal Service.
The Rock Hill, SC, letter carrier who recently saved a 7-year-old girl from a dog attack was honored this week by TV talk show host Steve Harvey.
Pizzo appeared in a “Harvey’s Hero” segment along with Kayden White, the girl he rescued, and her mother, Shaquitta.
Although the segment hasn’t been posted online, the story is receiving attention on social media.
A post on Harvey’s Facebook page has received almost 2,000 likes and more than 45 comments.
“What a great guy!” one fan wrote. “He is a hero and that little girl’s guardian angel for sure.”
