Talk about a social media sensation.
Kerry Williams, a retail associate at Jere Baxter Station in Nashville, TN, was commended by USPS last week after several customers went on Facebook to praise his friendly service.
“[Kerry’s] always so nice! I’ve been in line before and watched him deal with grumpy customers as if they were his best friends,” one customer wrote.
“He’s awesome. I always leave with a smile,” another customer posted.
After Postal Service managers saw the comments, they visited the station and presented Williams with a certificate of appreciation.
“That’s what I’m here for — to serve the customers and treat them like family,” Williams said. “My momma always said, ‘Treat everyone like you want to be treated.’”
