Postal Pulse survey begins Aug. 15

The next Postal Pulse employee survey will be conducted from Aug. 15-Sept. 15.

USPS is encouraging all employees to complete the next Postal Pulse survey, a tool in the organization’s efforts to improve its workplaces.

The survey measures engagement, which describes employees’ involvement, enthusiasm and commitment to their work. USPS will conduct the survey from Tuesday, Aug. 15-Friday, Sept. 15.

“We encourage all our employees to participate in the upcoming Postal Pulse survey,” said PMG Megan J. Brennan. “The survey provides ongoing insights that enable us to continue to strengthen our organization.”

The survey has 13 questions and takes about 5 minutes to complete. Several methods are available:

• Gallup’s site. Non-bargaining employees will receive an email Aug. 15 from Gallup, the organization that conducts the Postal Pulse. The email will contain a link to a secure survey site.

• Paper. Bargaining employees will receive the survey at work and at home, beginning Aug. 15. Employees who receive the survey at home can bring it to work and receive time to complete it on the clock.

• LiteBlue. All employees can complete the survey on LiteBlue, using personal or work computers. Employees will need their ID number and password to log in.

Although employees are being given several options to complete the Postal Pulse survey, only the first survey received by Gallup for each employee will be counted. Gallup doesn’t share individual employees’ responses with USPS.
