Postal Service and National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) leaders recently put the final touches on a new labor deal that covers approximately 211,000 USPS employees represented by the union.
The contract was signed by PMG Megan J. Brennan and NALC President Fredric Rolando at USPS headquarters in Washington, DC.
The deal, which NALC members ratified last month, follows the wages and benefits pattern of the major collective bargaining agreements previously settled in the current round of bargaining.
The agreement will continue through Sept. 20, 2019.
“The Postal Service values and appreciates the NALC’s collaboration in achieving this negotiated agreement,” said Labor Relations VP Doug Tulino. “This is a fair and reasonable contract that serves the best interests of our employees and the Postal Service.”
