In a special video message, Postmaster General Louis DeJoy and postal union presidents discuss the Postal Service’s new leadership task force on election-related mail and the organization’s commitment to delivering this mail securely and on time.
The task force will help the organization work with election officials across the nation, including addressing issues relating to voter education and best practices in administering mail-in voting for the 2020 election.
In addition to DeJoy, the video features Fredric Rolando, president of the National Association of Letter Carriers; Ronnie Stutts, president of the National Rural Letter Carriers’ Association; Mark Dimondstein, president of the American Postal Workers Union; and Paul Hogrogian, president of the National Postal Mail Handlers Union.
The “Delivering America’s Election Mail” video, which USPS released Sept. 10, is available on Link and other postal websites and will be shown to employees in postal facilities during the next two weeks.
