Who says the mailing business is all work and no play?

The Postal Service is now shipping products overseas for an Indiana toy store, thanks to Indianapolis Field Service Representative Mary Drake-Richardson, who arranged the deal.

It began when Drake-Richardson learned the toy store wanted to expand into the international market.

After touring the facility and examining the products, Drake-Richardson told the store’s owners about Priority Mail International, which offers online postage, insurance, tracking and Free Package Pickup.

The store agreed to give USPS a try and now plans to send 2,000 shipments each year using Priority Mail International Medium Flat Rate Boxes.

This will result in an average rate of $60 per shipment, generating $125,000 in new revenue for the Postal Service.
