USPS promotes services to federal agencies

Brand Marketing Executive Director Betty Su touts the benefits of mail on Government Mail Day.

Representatives from more than 100 federal agencies learned how the Postal Service can help them better serve the public during a daylong visit to USPS headquarters Jan. 28.

Postal employees gave presentations on the latest USPS products and services. Topics included mail protection, management, best practices, digital initiatives, addressing and the future of mail.

Several attendees said they appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the Postal Service.

“One thing is certain: amazing techniques for success can be shared collaboratively because we are all focused on the same end result — relevance of the mail, keeping it simple and working together,” said Consumer and Industry Affairs VP Jim Nemec.

Consumer and Industry Affairs and Industry Engagement and Outreach hosted the event, which was dubbed Government Mail Day. Other sponsors were the National Postal Forum, General Services Administration and Government Mailers Advisory Council.
