The Postal Service’s national scanning rating was 96.13 percent for the week ending Jan. 30, up slightly from the previous week.
The race remained tight at the district and area levels Feb. 4:
- Districts. Portland (97.61 percent) held onto first place, followed by Central Plains (97.35 percent) and Arkansas (97.26 percent).
- Areas. Western (96.68 percent) again ranked first, followed by Great Lakes (96.46 percent) and Eastern (96.43 percent).
Scanning allows customers to track their packages and other mail. It also helps the Postal Service boost efficiency and strengthen network management.
