National performance continues incremental rise

Scanning Score Card

National scanning performance for the week ending Feb. 6 again rose incrementally from the previous week, reaching a rating of 96.26 percent.

The contest remained close at the area and district levels Feb. 11:

  • Areas. Western (96.69 percent) held onto first place, followed by Capital Metro (96.54 percent) and Southern (96.53 percent).
  • Districts. Portland (97.6 percent) again ranked first, followed by Central Plains (97.45 percent) and Dakotas (97.43 percent).

Scanning allows customers to track their packages and other mail. It also helps the Postal Service boost efficiency and strengthen network management.

Scores and standings change continually. To see the latest results, go to the Enterprise Analytics site and use the Scanning menu bar to select Scan Scores DES 2.

Informational videos about scanning are available at USPS-TV.
