Western Area, Portland District still dominate standings

The national scanning score hit 96.22 percent during the week ending April 3, a slight increase from the previous week.

Here are the area and district standings, as of April 8:

  • Areas. Western, with a rating of 96.7 percent, ranked first for the seventh straight week. Southern (96.62 percent) moved up one spot to take second, followed by Capital Metro (96.23 percent).
  • Districts. Portland, with a rating of 97.43 percent, retained the top spot for the fifth week in a row. Arkansas (97.37 percent) soared 63 spots to take second while Dakotas (97.32 percent) finished third.

Scanning allows customers to track their packages and other mail. It also helps the Postal Service boost efficiency and strengthen network management.
