New leaders emerge in performance standings

The national scanning score held steady at 96.76 percent during the week ending May 8, but there are new leaders at the area and district levels.

Here are the local standings, as of May 13:

  • Areas. Capital Metro, with a rating of 97.08 percent, assumed first place. Western (97.02 percent) took second, while Southern (96.95 percent) finished third.
  • Districts. Greater Boston and Sacramento tied for first at 97.75 percent. Portland (97.72 percent) took third.
