The Postal Bulletin’s latest issue profiles Colorado Springs, CO, Letter Carrier William Searuggs, one of several employees who recently received PMG Hero Awards.
The awards, established in 2003, honor employees who perform heroic acts.
Searuggs, a 15-year USPS veteran, came to the aid of a customer who fell and hit his head.
The June 11 Postal Bulletin also includes information on mailing promotions for business customers, as well as the free mail program for members of the U.S. armed forces.
