COD FYI

USPS now accepts electronic funds transfers

Priority Mail
Customers can now use electronic fund transfers to pay for Collect on Delivery packages.

The Postal Service now allows customers to pay for Collect on Delivery (COD) mail by transferring funds electronically to the mailer’s account.

This will expedite payments, reducing the number of COD claims filed each year due to lost remittance payments.

The new service also is more secure because payments go directly to the mailer’s bank or another financial institution.

COD is one of the extra services the Postal Service recently simplified to better serve customers.
