There was a slight shakeup in the area and district scanning standings last week.
While Western (96.74 percent) and Capital Metro (96.71 percent) led the areas for the third straight week, Northeast (96.55 percent) climbed two spots to take third.
Meanwhile, Sacramento (97.61 percent) ranked first among the districts for the fourth week in a row. Western Area’s Northland District (97.53 percent) finished second, up from fifth place, while Portland (97.52 percent) finished third.
The national scanning score was 96.38 percent, down slightly from one week earlier.
Scanning allows customers to track their packages and other mail. It also helps the Postal Service improve efficiency and network management.
