First responders
USPS will offer greeting cards to honor firefighters and other public servants.

Select Post Offices will sell greeting cards to mark the National Day of Service and Remembrance, which is held each Sept. 11 to honor first responders, military personnel and other public servants.

Approximately 10,000 Post Offices will soon receive shipments of the cards, which sell for $2.95 each and come in six designs.

Each shipment includes cards, along with a header sign and instruction sheet. Select offices also will receive a retail countertop corrugate.

Cards should go on display immediately and be removed Nov. 16.
