Fairmont, MN, Letter Carrier Mark Moeller was recently delivering mail when he noticed a 2-year-old girl alone and about to step into a busy intersection.
Moeller parked his vehicle and approached the child. She couldn’t tell him her name or where she lived, but she pointed north.
Moeller took the girl by the hand and walked in that direction. The child recognized the house where she lives and ran toward it. Moeller knocked on the door and spoke to the mother, who had fallen asleep and was unaware the child had wandered away.
The mother thanked Moeller for helping her daughter find her way home.
