The Nov. 21 episode of “The Inspectors” delivers a twist: Instead of investigating consumer fraud, the team comes together when one of their own is attacked.
In the episode, a letter carrier (played by Jay Johnson) contacts the Inspection Service when he witnesses an attack on a fellow employee. The carrier’s information provides Inspector Amanda Wainwright (Jessica Lundy) and her colleagues with crucial clues in their investigation.
Like other crimes depicted on “The Inspectors,” this episode is based on real cases from the Inspection Service’s files.
