The USPS mobile app that allows users to take photos of the “Peanuts” gang is a hit with customers and employees alike.

“The app allows me to share holiday magic with multiple generations — from my 73-year-old parents to my 10-year-old daughter,” said Kentuckiana District Marketing Manager Alisa Zanetti. “It’s been great to snap a picture and share it on social media.”

After downloading the app, employees can scan one of the Postal Service’s blue collection boxes and take pictures of co-workers posing alongside Charlie Brown and other “Peanuts” characters.

“It’s a nice way to remind everyone of the essential role we play in delivering [the] holidays,” said Honolulu District Manager Greg Wolny.

The “Peanuts” photo opportunity will be available on the app Dec. 14-18, 23-24, 26-27, 29-31 and throughout January as part of the Postal Service’s rotating “Mailbox Miracles” experiences. Other interactive holiday animation will appear throughout December.

A new video on Blue showcases additional features on the app, which can be downloaded through Google Play and the iTunes App Store.

The Postal Service’s holiday promotional campaign also includes TV commercials and websites.
