USPS leaders recently exchanged delivery tips and best practices with their counterparts from La Poste, the French postal service.
The La Poste officials visited the Las Vegas Paradise Valley Station, where they met with a group that included Delivery Operations VP Ed Phelan, Delivery Strategies Manager Scott Hooper and Las Vegas Postmaster Kathy Hand.
The French delegation included three La Poste employees who later accompanied Las Vegas letter carriers on their routes.
Letter Carrier Catherine Allocca said the La Poste employee who accompanied her “was amazed at the amount of parcels we delivered and how big our vehicles were.”
The La Poste delegation visited the United States to attend the Consumer Electronics Show, where USPS showcased its latest innovations.
