Got empty toner and inkjet cartridges?
If so, don’t toss them. Recycle them instead through the USPS BlueEarth Federal Recycling Program, which allows you to recycle all types of used toner and inkjet cartridges, except Ricoh Toner tubes.
To begin recycling, log onto USPS BlueEarth and select “Get Started Today.”
Next, choose “United States Postal Service” from the government agency pull-down menu, complete the other “Let’s Get Started” information and click submit.
Print the prepaid label for each shipment — and then pack the cartridges in a box and mail it.
Don’t use return labels from other shippers or include them in your box.
Unopened or unused toner and inkjet cartridges should be mailed to the Material Distribution Center.
