Shaun Mossman has been appointed Southern Area vice president, effective Feb. 27.
Mossman has been acting in this role since November. He leads a workforce of more than 113,000 employees who collect, process and deliver 230 million mailpieces each day.
Mossman previously served as Finance and Planning vice president and was responsible for all revenue and expense budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis and program evaluation.
Other past assignments include Western Area operations support manager and manager of Nevada-Sierra District and Big Sky District in Montana.
Mossman began his postal career in 1987 as a letter carrier in Newport News, VA.
“Shaun’s strong business insights and extensive operational experience will serve him well in this new position,” said PMG Megan J. Brennan, who announced his appointment this week.
