The Postal Service’s Advanced Leadership Program (ALP) will welcome its 100th class March 7.
ALP is designed to develop the leadership skills of employees who are Executive and Administrative Schedule (EAS) levels 22 or above. Each class takes place over three non-consecutive weeks.
More than 2,300 managers, executives and officers have graduated from the program since it began in 1998.
Photos of each graduating class, along with bricks personalized with each graduate’s name, are displayed at the William F. Bolger Center for Leadership Development, the Potomac, MD, facility where classes are held.
“The bricks are symbolic of their role in paving the way for a better, stronger future and the organization’s unwavering commitment to preparing leaders of the future,” said Chief Human Resources Officer Jeff Williamson.
