Scanning scorecard

Western again leads areas

Scanning helps USPS improve efficiency and network management.

The national scanning score for the week ending March 4 was 97.16 percent, up from one week earlier.

Western (97.53 percent) again finished first among the areas, followed by Southern (97.26 percent) and Eastern (97.22 percent).

The top three districts were Portland (98.17 percent), Arkansas (98.14 percent) and Greater South Carolina (97.92 percent), which climbed five spots from a week ago.

Scanning allows customers to track their packages and other mail. It also helps the Postal Service improve efficiency and network management.

Scores and standings change continually. To see the latest results, go to the Enterprise Analytics site and use the Dashboards menu bar to select DES 2.

Informational videos about scanning are available at USPS-TV.
