Several Postal Service employees stepped into the spotlight at this year’s National Postal Forum, which concluded March 23 in Nashville.

Three employees were recognized for their contributions to Business Connect, a sales program that encourages Postmasters and other managers to meet with small businesses in their communities.

The honorees: Grulla, TX, Postmaster Anita Chapa; Ray City, GA, Postmaster Troy Horne; and Odebolt, IA, Postmaster Lisa Jacobsen.

Additionally, USPS recognized four employees who each registered multiple business customers for the forum: John Plona, a Detroit business alliances specialist; Mike LePree, a Minneapolis customer relations coordinator; Rebecca Brummitt, a Peoria, IL, customer relations coordinator; and Ramela Younekian, marketing manager for Sierra Costa District.

Other highlights from this year’s forum include PMG Megan J. Brennan’s keynote address and presentations from other USPS executives on technology and delivery.

The Postal Service also recognized several business customers with mail innovation and technology awards, as well as Partnership for Progress and Irresistible Mail honors.
