St. Louis Retail Associate Sahaar Webb is photographed for the new POP campaign.

Sahaar Webb has the kind of look you’d expect to see in ads for Calvin Klein or Gucci.

Instead, the St. Louis retail associate is the face of the Postal Service’s new spring point-of-purchase (POP) campaign. He’ll soon be seen in promotional materials in more than 32,000 USPS retail locations nationwide.

“I am proud to represent the Postal Service and all retail associates across the country,” Webb said.

USPS chose Webb for the role after he responded to a casting call.

“We asked retail associates to send in photos of themselves in uniform, and the confidence and sincerity Sahaar conveyed in his photo truly emulated our brand,” said Brand Marketing Acting Executive Director Chris Karpenko. “Employees like Sahaar represent how we are postal proud and continue to deliver exceptional service to our customers.”

Brand Marketing contacted Webb within a few days of his snapshot submission, providing him with details about the photo shoot in St. Louis.

Webb was thrilled.

“This is an awesome opportunity,” he said. “I have a passion for music and producing. This experience allowed me to bring my educational perspective full circle.”
