Jessica Lundy has been honored with a Daytime Emmy for her performance on “The Inspectors.”
Lundy, who plays Postal Inspector Amanda Wainwright on the family friendly TV drama, received the award for outstanding performance in a children’s series April 29 at a ceremony in Los Angeles.
“I’m honored to receive this award, which I share with our cast, our crew and the real-life heroes of the Postal Inspection Service, whose stories we are privileged to tell each week on ‘The Inspectors,’” Lundy said.
“The Inspectors” has been on a winning streak since its debut last October. The series has received several awards and nominations for its depiction of Postal Inspectors who investigate a variety of crimes, including mail fraud, dangerous mail, identity theft and crimes against postal employees.
The series was recently renewed for a second season and will air 22 new episodes, beginning in the fall.
CBS stations air “The Inspectors” at varying times on Saturday mornings. The CBS Dream Team site offers local air times and past episodes.
