The Postal Service’s national scanning rating was 97.45 percent during the week ending May 6, virtually unchanged from the previous week.
Forty-two districts met or exceeded the national average, led by Dakotas (98.4 percent). Two areas beat the national score, led by Western (97.83 percent).
Scanning allows customers to track their packages and other mail. It also helps the Postal Service improve efficiency and network management.
