The Anaheim, CA, Processing and Distribution Center (P&DC) is leading the nation in processing flat-sized mail for the third year in a row.

The facility ranked highest on a recent performance ranking of Flats Sequencing System (FSS) machines, which sort flat-sized mailpieces into delivery point sequences at high speeds.

The P&DC’s performance factored throughput, acceptance rate and pieces fed — the categories that compose the national FSS scorecard.

“Our success is because we all come together — clerks, mail handlers and management,” said William Moore, a mail processing clerk.

Anaheim P&DC Plant Manager Dennis Moulds and In-Plant Support Manager Robert Olsen praised employees’ consistent efforts.

“Your dedication and drive have made us first place in the nation, and we are very thankful and appreciate all of you,” Olsen said.
