Talk about a very important postal visitor.

The Utuado, PR, Post Office recently received a visit from Adriana Diaz, who is slated to compete this week in the Rio Summer Olympics.

Adriana, a 15-year-old table tennis player, was born and raised in Utuado.

She dropped by her hometown Post Office at the request of Postmaster Carlos Roman, who invited her to join a team photo.

“This picture is very special for us,” said Roman.

In the most recent Pan American Games, Adriana took home four gold medals. She also won the Youthfulness Award for promising young player in 2015.

The Rio women’s singles for table tennis are scheduled to be seen Saturday, Aug. 6. NBC’s Olympics site has more information.

“We are proud to have the best athlete teamed up with the best Post Office in the Caribbean,” Roman said.
