Got empty toner and inkjet cartridges?

If so, don’t toss them. Recycle them instead through the USPS BlueEarth Federal Recycling Program, which allows you to recycle all types of used toner and inkjet cartridges.

This supports the Postal Service’s sustainability efforts and helps generate revenue.

To begin recycling, log onto BlueEarth.usps.gov and select “Get started today.”

Since April 21, all employees must log in to download labels for recycling printer cartridges.

Employees must create an account by entering an email address and password before proceeding. Once registered, select the number of labels needed.

Print the prepaid label and then pack the cartridges in a box and mail it. USPS recommends sending multiple cartridges at a time.

Don’t use return labels from other shippers or include them in your box.

Contact the Asset Accountability Service Center in your area if additional guidance is needed.
