The Central Illinois District sales team recently hit the Illinois State Fair, where they helped promote the value of Political Mail to the many candidates in attendance.

“The Central Illinois sales team attended the event to meet with the candidates and share how direct mail can be an effective tool for their campaigns, as well as a platform for fundraising,” said District Sales Manager Patricia Bridges.

The team touted the benefits of mail to federal, state and county candidates, as well as representatives from political action committees, nonprofit organizations and other groups.

“The state fair allowed us to show the impact of direct mail, which is sure to lead to new revenues,” Bridges said.

The team’s efforts are part of the Postal Service’s overall strategy for this year’s elections.

USPS is also holding events, working with the American Association of Political Consultants and other outlets, and introducing digital tools to help campaigns better use mail.
