For a few days last week, one Postal Service facility in Los Angeles resembled Santa’s workshop.

Employees at Westchester Station busily painted the dock, polished the floor and made other improvements. The reason: Westchester has been selected as one of the sites for this year’s holiday TV campaign, which is now in production.

Several scenes were filmed at the facility, as well as other sites in San Diego and Sierra Coastal districts.

“We are so excited to have been selected to play such an important role in the new holiday production,” said Station Manager Tracy Phillips. “It’s as though Christmas arrived early in Los Angeles District.”

The TV campaign, which will be the latest to feature real Postal Service employees, will debut later this year.
