PMG Megan J. Brennan thanked employees for delivering exceptional customer service during a recent visit to Dakotas District.

The PMG toured five Post Offices, including the Great Falls, MT, Post Office, a national leader in “lean mail delivery,” an approach that reduces waste and boosts efficiency.

“This team does a great job delivering for their customers,” said Brennan, who gathered with the Great Falls employees behind a banner that declares the office’s carriers No. 1.

During visits to other Montana Post Offices, the PMG praised employees for their strong performance in scanning, which helps customers track their packages and mail.

“Our employees understand the importance of scanning and achieving full visibility for every mailpiece as it moves through our network,” she said.

Also during her visit, Brennan swore in Kasha Jeide as the new Postmaster in Deer Lodge, MT, and she performed an impromptu street observation when she visited Helena, MT, and encountered Letter Carrier Gary Russell delivering mail.

“Gary did a great job,” the PMG said. “He’s an example of how every employee in our organization is stepping up to own the customer experience and provide excellent service at every touch point.”
