The Postal Service’s national scanning rating was 97.43 percent during the week ending Oct. 21, up from the previous week.
Forty-one districts and four areas met or exceeded the national average.
Dakotas (98.91 percent) finished first among the districts for the fifth consecutive week, while Western (97.87 percent) led the areas for the second week in a row.
Scanning allows customers to track their packages and other mail. It also helps the Postal Service improve efficiency and network management.
Scores and standings change continually.
