Keep watch

Employees are encouraged to report suspicious activities to the CyberSecurity Operations Center.

The CyberSafe at USPS team reminds employees to remain vigilant and watch for suspicious activities that might threaten Postal Service computer systems.

If you identify a potential cyber threat, report it to the CyberSecurity Operations Center immediately.

Reporting these threats allows the Postal Service to protect its network, review security controls and take corrective measures to reduce the likelihood of future incidents.

Potential threats include:

  • Physical loss or theft of USPS devices or resources
  • Unauthorized disclosure of postal or personal information
  • Unavailability of files or data
  • Unauthorized downloads on computers or mobile devices
  • Suspicious emails
