The Postal Service’s national scanning rating was 97.37 percent during the week ending Dec. 2, down from the previous week.
Forty districts and three areas met or exceeded the national average.
Dakotas (98.51 percent) finished first among the districts for the 11th consecutive week, while Great Lakes (97.73 percent) climbed one spot to finish first among the areas, ending Western’s seven-week run at the top.
Scanning allows customers to track their packages and other mail. It also helps the Postal Service improve efficiency and network management.
Scores and standings change continually.
