The Postal Service has spruced up its online holiday newsroom.
The site features news releases, Link stories, videos, stamp information, fact sheets, mail-by dates and details about the Operation Santa and Letters from Santa programs — all displayed on a snowy landscape.
This year, users can “paint” the background with the click of their mouse. Refreshing the page allows users to apply new strokes to a clean background.
Additionally, users can make it “snow” by clicking a snowflake icon in the upper left hand of the screen.
The newsroom site also has a Christmas countdown clock and links to usps.com, where users can track packages, schedule pickups, locate Post Offices, look up ZIP Codes and more.
