Making a new year’s resolution is easy — but keeping it may be more difficult.

Whether your goal is to lose weight, quit smoking or achieve something else, the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) can help you stay on track.

Through EAP’s life coaching service, you can receive feedback and develop strategies and action steps for moving yourself toward your goals.

Life coaching can also be used to help managers and supervisors with issues such as managing stress and time, improving communication, handling conflict and balancing home and work.

“The time is now,” said EAP Administrator Deborah Atkins. “Coaching can make the difference in reaching your important resolutions, and coaching will be there when you are ready.”

To be assigned a coach who will assist you in developing your personal plan, call 800-EAP-4-YOU (800-327-4968). The TTY number is 877-492-7341.

Coaching appointments can be in-person, over the phone or through a combination of both. Follow-ups can be done via email.

The EAP site offers other resources, including online counseling and self-help tools.
