The issue also previews upcoming stamps, including Lili’uokalani Gardens, Gateway Arch, Patriotic Nonprofit, Oscar de la Renta, Uncle Sam’s Hat and John Fitzgerald Kennedy.

Get well soon. The parents of a seriously ill Florida child who loves to receive mail are asking well-wishers to send her greeting cards to brighten her day.

Rylee Bernosky, 5, was diagnosed with a rare type of brain tumor in December, Fox News recently reported.

Mail from the chief. Before President Obama turns the keys to the White House over to his successor, he’s clearing out his inbox.

The president recently mailed an autographed picture to Isaiah Garcia, a Cub Scout from San Antonio who wrote to Obama last fall to request his autograph.

Isaiah, 7, plans to frame the letter and envelope and hang it up in his room, KENS-TV recently reported.
