USPS will adjust prices for some products and services this weekend.

Price changes for some USPS mailing and shipping products and services will take effect Sunday, Jan. 22.

The changes include a 2-cent increase in the price of a First-Class Mail Forever stamp.

This will return the price to 49 cents, the price in effect before USPS was mandated to reduce prices by the Postal Regulatory Commission last year as part of the exigent surcharge removal.

The changes also represent a price increase in Priority Mail of 3.9 percent and an average increase of 3.3 percent in retail prices.

The Postal Service announced the mailing and shipping price changes last October.

The Retail and Customer Service Operations Blue page has a price change kit for Postmasters.

The Postal Explorer site also has a list of the new prices.
