Engage Weekly

Managers encouraged to share newsletter

Engage Weekly newsletter
Engage Weekly’s Jan. 16 edition features stories about service awards and employees’ anniversaries with USPS.

The Postal Service is encouraging USPS leaders who receive Engage Weekly to share the newsletter.

Engage is distributed every week via email. Managers and supervisors are asked to print each edition, post it on employee bulletin boards and provide copies in break areas.

“Engage Weekly provides an opportunity for leaders to showcase their teams’ efforts and accomplishments,” said Jasmine Duke, an Employee Engagement organizational development analyst who oversees the newsletter.

“It’s an opportunity for all employees to read about the latest in employee engagement throughout our organization, as well as to learn tips and techniques for applying the principles of engagement.”

The newsletter debuted last year and is part of the Postal Service’s efforts to foster employee enthusiasm, involvement and commitment.

Other regular features include a “Celebrations” section showcasing employee birthdays, anniversaries and other milestones, as well as original cartoons by Eastern Area Engagement Ambassador Earl Musick.

Employees can submit content about their work unit by emailing the information to engagement@usps.gov.
