Nancy Rettinhouse, vice president of Employee Resource Management, will retire from the Postal Service Feb. 3 after 38 years.
Rettinhouse joined USPS as a processing and distribution clerk in Grand Rapids, MI, and moved steadily through the management ranks. She held numerous positions in Michigan, Virginia, North Carolina, Illinois and Florida.
In 2015, PMG Megan J. Brennan appointed Rettinhouse to her current role. Her responsibilities included talent acquisition and retention, training and development, succession planning, diversity, personnel services, and safety, health and medical programs.
In a memo announcing Rettinhouse’s retirement, the PMG praised her for streamlining the Postal Service’s hiring process, enhancing employee safety initiatives and expanding a leadership development program for employees.
“Nancy has been an outstanding leader throughout her career,” Brennan wrote.
