Good going. For the second year in a row, Cynopsis Media has recognized “The Inspectors” for providing socially responsible programming.
Last week, the Cynopsis Social Good Awards honored the TV series in the integrated promotional campaign category. “The Inspectors” also received an honorable mention in a category honoring episodes with social good themes.
The show helps “raise awareness of individuals with mobility issues by depicting life as a United States Postal Inspector and life seen through the eyes of a young man living with paralysis,” according to Cynopsis Media, the industry trade publisher that organizes the awards.
CBS stations broadcast “The Inspectors” at varying times Saturday mornings. The CBS Dream Team site offers local air times and past episodes.
Spring forward. Daylight saving time begins Sunday, March 12, at 2 a.m.
In areas where the change is observed, most people will “spring ahead” and set their clocks forward one hour March 11 at bedtime.
Clocks will turn back Nov. 5 at 2 a.m.
On the move. Speaking of springtime: National Dog Bite Prevention Week, which is traditionally held during the third week of May, will take place April 9-15 this year.
The coalition that organizes the annual campaign, which includes the Postal Service, announced the change this week.
