The Postal Service is slated to complete Informed Delivery’s national rollout by mid-April.
Informed Delivery is a free, optional feature that provides residential consumers with digital previews of their incoming mail.
Users receive images of the outside of their household’s letter-sized mailpieces before they arrive in their physical mailboxes. These images can be viewed via email, or they can be accessed on an online dashboard.
USPS is also encouraging employees to use this feature by signing up at informeddelivery.usps.com. Signing up is voluntary and must be completed off the clock.
Managers and supervisors can order brochures and pocket pads to share with employees so they can learn more about Informed Delivery and answer consumers’ questions about how they can sign up during the national rollout.
