Dream home. Coy Hill, a flat-sorting machine clerk in Jackson, MS, recently won a home through a fundraising promotion for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
The 3,100-square-foot, four-bedroom, four-bathroom home is located in a gated community with a clubhouse, tennis courts and other amenities. The home’s estimated value is $487,000.
“I never thought I’d win. I always just bought the tickets to support St. Jude, since it’s such a good cause,” Hill said.
Wellness webinars. The Postal Service will offer two webinars to mark Employee Health and Fitness Month:
• May 18 at 2 p.m. EST: Women’s Health. This webinar is part of National Women’s Health Week, an annual observance led by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that encourages women to make their health a priority.
• May 31 at 2 p.m. EST: National Senior Health and Fitness Day. This webinar highlights an annual observance in which 100,000 older adults participate in activities at more than 1,000 locations.
