Employee deals update. USPS employees can pursue higher education through new partnerships with three universities:

American Military University is offering employees a 5 percent discount on all courses.

American Public University is also offering employees a 5 percent discount on all courses.

Colorado Technical University is offering employees and their immediate family members a 10 percent discount on tuition.

The discounts align with the Postal Service’s emphasis on investing in its workforce.

More information on these and other partnerships is available on the Employee Deals LiteBlue page.

New findings. The Postal Service’s auditor recently completed more than 1,300 investigations that led to almost $20 million in fines, restitutions and recoveries.

The data is included in the Office of Inspector General’s Semiannual Report to Congress, which covers the six-month period that ended March 31.

USPS accepted 84 percent of the agency’s recommendations. The Office of Inspector General’s site has more information.
