Updates on scanning, awards and stamps

Western was the area leader in scanning during the week ending July 7, while Dakotas finished first among the districts.

Scanning snapshot. The Postal Service’s national scanning rating was 97.83 percent during the week ending July 7, up from one week earlier.

Dakotas (99.17 percent) topped the districts, while Western (98.26 percent) led the areas.

Good reputation. USPS remains one of the nation’s most respected organizations, new research shows.

The Postal Service ranks 65th on the US RepTrak 100, a list of the nation’s 100 most reputable companies.

The annual study is produced by the Reputation Institute research firm. Organizations included on the list must meet a host of criteria, including product quality and good corporate citizenship.

Webby winner. The Postal Service’s online marketing efforts were recently recognized with Webby Awards, an international competition for internet excellence.

Innovations that Deliver, a site that showcases the latest USPS technology for business and residential customers, was an honoree in both the professional services and animation categories.

Disney Villains. Don’t forget: USPS will release its Disney Villains stamps July 15. The stamps will be dedicated that day at D23 Expo, a Disney fan event in Anaheim, CA.
