The Postal Service recently redesigned Post Office Boxes Online (POBOL), a usps.com application.
The application allows customers to request payment reminders via email, view the status of their POBOL accounts online, set up automatic payments, and view their online payment histories.
Here’s what’s new:
• Customers can now close their PO Boxes online.
• If a customer paid for a box online and is eligible for a refund, he or she can request it online.
• Customers on a wait list for a PO Box are notified when a box is available, and they can reserve these boxes online.
• The new application mirrors the look and feel of usps.com.
The redesigned application is part of the Postal Service’s broader efforts to improve customers’ experiences.
